I am a physicist and currently living in Canada pursuing my PhD, was born in Brazil. I started photography as a hobby in 2007 and found a good reason to keep going - I could make money out of it on microstock. I have just a little over one hundred photos online but it gives a good extra few bucks at the end of the month.

This is, in my opinion, the best site out there for microstock photographers. You only get $0.25 for every download of one of your images, but this is balanced by a lot of downloads a day. So, if you want to make some money with your photos, join this site.
